It’s Throwback Thursday on February 8, 2024 and for today’s message we are going back to 1989 once more.
In his book “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”, Steven R. Covey, Phd., wrote that Highly Effective People are proactive. This is habit #1. On Friday of last week I shared habit #2 which is to begin with the end in mind. Last week we revisited habit #3 which is Put First Things First.
And today we are looking at habit #4 which is Win Win.
In the book, Dr. Covey states “Two people can see the same thing, disagree, and yet both be right. It’s not logical; it’s psychological.”
And in our roles as real estate licensees we must, meaning we are required by the state to protect the public from unscrupulous real estate practices. We have to do the right thing, seek win-win.
This isn’t easy to do unless we exercise that muscle of looking out for others and doing the right thing.
There are people in our community that need our assistance in protecting them from people who will take advantage of them and our duty is to seek out those people
So today, Ask yourself: “who can I seek a win-win situation with? Who needs my assistance? Who is it that might be in a situation where I can be of service to them regardless of the opportunity to earn a fee for service.
Can I add that person to my Sphere of Influence so that over time they can refer business to me because I served them in their time of need?
Does that create a Win Win?
I believe it does.
So today, I challenge you today to look at your Sphere of Influence and find the opportunities to create a WIN-WIN for you and a client or prospect.
If I can be of assistance to you in doing this, just reach out to me and I’ll be happy to assist you.
If you haven’t done so yet, please click on the link below and pick a day and time for us to visit one on one so that I can assist you in reaching your goals for 2024
